This course outlines the general cultural and geopolitical landscape of the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean in the period 1600-1200 BC, which, from the point of view of Greek interest, is characterized by the formation and spread of the Mycenaean civilization, the first proven and socio-politically organized Greek civilization with an instrument of linguistic communication in the Eastern and Central Mediterranean, in parallel with the phase of gradual retreat of the other great civilization in the same area, namely the Minoan one, which dominated there before the appearance of the Mycenaeans.

Complete the course successfully and obtain the Certificate of Attendance from ACTA Technovlastos Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, upon expression of interest.
